You can imagine my dismay when I saw posts from Ebay to youtube to even MSN.com regarding the ugly Christmas sweater frenzies. Personally I do not think most of them are ugly. I like my sweaters, and look forward to wearing them every year since I CAN only wear them once a year.
There are a few diehards out there wearing their Christmas sweaters proudly. I will admit, I wore a few myself this year. But then realized it was a lost cause when I saw the looks on people's faces when I passed them by.
Everytime I go into my closet, I see them hanging there, almost begging to be worn. I reach for the plain shirt instead.
I am not giving up on them. Ok, maybe I am this year. But next year, hopefully those sweaters will overcome the negativity, and I will once again wear my Christmas Sweaters proudly.
